Andrew Mitchell MP visits John Taylor Hospice

Sutton’s MP has visited the John Taylor Hospice in nearby Erdington which provides support to Sutton Coldfield, as well as being the home of former Sutton Coldfield MP and photographer Sir Benjamin Stone. Andrew Mitchell had a meeting with the Clinical Business Manager, Jan Hipkiss, and Head of Brand and Media, Diane Parkes, to hear about the future plans of the Hospice and discuss any issues that they wanted to raise that Sutton’s MP could assist with. 

Westminster Column Birmingham Airport

In the run up to a busy time for the airport over the summer, I visited Birmingham International and had a meeting with the senior management to discuss developments there and their plans for the future. We also, of course, discussed issues of wider airport expansion in the UK after the decision earlier this summer to favour expansion at Heathrow Airport over the other options available.
