Janet Cairns lives on Morven Road and is a qualified nurse and works as a healthcare consultant within the NHS and has done for many years (since she we 18). ‘‘What I will bring to the Council is a voice and empathy into issues surrounding disability. Having been a Govenor at Wilson Stuart School which specialises in the education of children with special needs and having a daughter with cerebral palsy I will offer a unique insight. I am married and have lived in Sutton for nearly 30 years and am passionate about the Town.’’
Janet was elected as one of the first Parish Councillors for the Royal Town in May 2016.
