The Association

Our Conservative Association has its offices on Sutton High Street from where we administer the work of our party in the Sutton Coldfield Constituency.

The Association is made up of a number of branches. Four branches, containing the eight electoral wards in Royal Sutton Coldfield, the Conservative Women's Constituency Committee, the Boldmere Women's Branch, the Elizabethen Luncheon Club, the Royal Rose Luncheon Club, the Young Conservatives and the Conservative Policy Forum. These branches organise many events, social action projects and campaigning activities.

The association provides a local office for our Andrew Mitchell, serving the needs of our party members in Royal Sutton Coldfield and working to secure the election of our Member of Parliament and Conservative Town and City Councillors.

Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell MP, the former Secretary of State for International Development and Chief Whip, was elected as the Member of Parliament in the Royal Town and Sutton Coldfield in 2001.

Campaigning

Both during and between election campaigns we collect and analyse views on local issues such as our recent Town Centre Survey in 2019. We also help associations further afield, most recently in Birmingham Northfield, Walsall North, Gedling and Cheltenham, all of which lead to Conservative victories in the 2019 General Election

Fundraising

We hold a variety of social events throughout the year, these guest speakers such as the Rt Hon Gavin Williamson MP and Lord Digby Jones these events are a brilliant opportunity to meet like-minded people and help us to raise the funds we need to win vital elections.

Recruitment

We encourage all Conservative supporters who live or work in the constituency to attend our events, join our Association and become actively involved in our work.

The Conservative Policy Forum

The Conservative Policy Forum, ran by Cllr Clare Horrocks organises a full programme of discussion groups and evenings bringing people together to debate the key issues facing Britain and the world.
