Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell MP visits Samsung Digital Service Academy at Birmingham Metropolitan College and Discusses Name Change to Royal Sutton Coldfield Campus

On Friday 16th October, Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell MP for Sutton Coldfield, was invited by Samsung Electronics to Birmingham Metropolitan College (BMet). His visit celebrates the investment behind qualifications and training resources in digital literacy that have unlocked learning opportunities and improved employability for young people in Birmingham.

Andrew Mitchell MP visits John Taylor Hospice

Sutton’s MP has visited the John Taylor Hospice in nearby Erdington which provides support to Sutton Coldfield, as well as being the home of former Sutton Coldfield MP and photographer Sir Benjamin Stone. Andrew Mitchell had a meeting with the Clinical Business Manager, Jan Hipkiss, and Head of Brand and Media, Diane Parkes, to hear about the future plans of the Hospice and discuss any issues that they wanted to raise that Sutton’s MP could assist with.
